Recovery Resource Center

The Recovery Resource Center, a program of Crisis Center Inc., is a collaborative initiative dedicated to simplifying the substance use treatment process. The RRC increases access to treatment and reduces barriers to recovery through peer support, assessment services and education on harm reduction.

The goal of the RRC is to ensure no one feels alone when they are struggling with substance use and to ensure they are met with compassion, empathy and understanding once they reach out for help.

        Services include:

  • Assessment: The Alabama Dept. of Mental Health placement assessment based on the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) Criteria identifies the appropriate level of care.

  • Information: We provide general information about addiction and recovery, as well as information specific to treatment providers and/or type of treatment.

  • Referral: Treatment options and community resources are discussed to meet individual needs and take into consideration various factors, such as insurance, or lack of insurance, as well as specific characteristics such as gender, veteran status, and place of residence.
