YesCare

Substance use is an ongoing concern for justice-involved individuals. YesCare/ADOC provides a variety of services to those incarcerated in ADOC with substance use needs. ADOC provides drug treatment/counseling services at most facilities. Currently, YesCare provides a MOUD program at eight ADOC facilities statewide.

The YesCare/ADOC MAT/MOUD program includes placement in a specialized housing wing, drug treatment meetings/counseling, medication, and reentry services. For people leaving incarceration, appointments are set at community MAT/MOUD clinics for continuity of care. Additionally, each person discharging from ADOC receives a 30-day supply of all prescribed medication at the time of release. They are also enrolled in a program to receive an additional 60-day supply of prescribed medication. Each person released from ADOC also receives information to enroll in low cost/no cost health insurance though the marketplace. People releasing from ADOC who wish to reside in a sober living environment are provided resources to apply for such housing.

Finally, YesCare maintains a public website, www.reentry.yescarecorp.com, which provides community resources for the following categories: Behavioral Health, Case Management/Peer Support/Counseling, Dental, Employment/Educational Resources, Faith-Based Organizations, Food & Clothing, Homeless Services, Housing Support, Medical, Substance Use, Transportation, & Veterans Affairs.

Users can search for resources by category, location, provider, county, or radius. Once the user selects resources to pursue, they can print those resources and effectively create a transition plan to guide the person returning to the community.
